''Cunt Away' continues Mörel’s exercise in publishing a book with restrictive time constraints, spontaneity and randomness.
Started late Friday night at the pub, the discussion with Nick focused on a larger selection of images including paintings, notebooks and photographs - this ended up also including found photographs from Nick's 2007 exhibition at the Whitechapel Gallery.
Meanwhile, Nick emailed Irvine Welsh in Chicago inquiring if he would reduce the edit to the books final content. Irvine responded and agreed almost immediately.
Come Saturday Morning, Irvine received the loose and larger selection of images, narrowed it down. By Sunday the book was designed and a text from Irvine included. Ready to print.
In addition each cover is hand painted by Nick. '
